Our services

Every kind of help, from a four hour visit to every hour of the week

Care is not one size. Some families need a four hour visit a few days a week. Others need someone overnight, or around the clock. Every visit is at least four hours, and we change the plan whenever the need changes.

The coverage families ask us for

Most families need a mix of hours, not just one label. We put them together into a single plan that matches the week.

Short-term care

A four hour visit when a full day is more than you need, but someone should not be left alone.

Extended care

Eight to twelve hour days in the home, so the routine can stay intact from morning through evening.

What a visit covers

The help that happens in the home

These are the tasks our caregivers do. What gets done on a given visit is written into that client's plan.

Meals and the house

  • Meal assistance, including cooking, warming a prepared meal, and help with feeding when needed
  • Light housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, making beds, dusting, and organizing

Personal care and safety

  • Incontinence management, keeping them clean and dry
  • Toileting assistance
  • Fall prevention
  • Medication reminders

Company and getting out

  • Companionship
  • Transportation when it applies to the visit

Sitting Sisters provides non-medical care. We coordinate with home health, hospice, and physician offices when they are involved. We do not administer medication or perform clinical procedures. We are bonded and insured.

How it works

Four simple steps, without complications

No application portals and no assessment fees. A conversation, a visit, a written plan, and then care that starts.

Common questions

The questions families ask first

Have a question that's not here? Feel free to give us a call so we can help!

Call or send a message and we will set up a free consultation, usually in the home so we can see the layout and meet everyone involved. We walk through the daily routine, what help is needed, and what the family is already covering. You leave that visit with a written care plan and a schedule, and there is no obligation to book.

Ready when you are

Not sure which service you need?

Most families are not, and that is what the consultation is for. Tell us what the day looks like now and we will help you choose the right mix of hours.
